ANOTHER WARM CHRISTMAS FOR THE CHILDREN OF MONTANA (2020)

Santa is back again this year for the children of Montana. The Dillon Foundation with the help of the Helena Goodwill and the assistance of the Clancy School district donated a large number of warm jackets to the children of Montana that needed them most.

The Governor of Oklahoma Mary Fallin has awarded Jim Dillon with the Governor's Commendation in recognition of Jim's extraordinary dedication and generosity above and beyond sacrifice of self in making a difference in the lives of Oklahomans who have been devastated by disasters.

For over 25 years the Dillon Foundation has been helping Oklahomans who have suffered tremendous loses.

Jim Dillon (Dillon Foundation's founder) is being recognized for making the difference in the lives of kids. His contributions helped rebuilding the Hearthland Child Daycare Center that was destroyed during the infamous bombing, a project he started with the Downtown Oklahoma City YMCA and Lieutenant Governor Mary Fallin who was also present at the ceremony.

HISTORY

The Dillon Foundation established in 1990, was the creation of Jim Dillon, President and CEO of Dillon Telephone Company, Inc. The primary source of funding for the Dillon Foundation in the first eight years was the Dillon Telephone Company, Inc. Since the sale of Dillon Telephone Company in 1998. The Dillon Foundation has been funded by donations from private individuals. Since the 1970's Jim Dillon has helped to support families and youth in need throughout Mexico and the United States. The Dillon Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) California nonprofit public benefit corporation.

Working together for the fifth year, the Dillon Foundation and the Helena Goodwill provided an early Christmas present to over two hundred children in the Bozeman, Montana area.
