Warm clothes for the children of Montana
We had an incredible organization visit us at the Helena Family YMCA and drop off the most amazing gifts for the youths of our community. The Dillion Foundation showed up, with a truck from the Goodwill filled witha vast number of coats and snow pants, 137 to be exact.
Jim Dillion, along with his faithful dog Stubs and his wonderful niece Sage went to Goodwill to purchase the coats through The Dillion Foundation; they also helped us unload all of the snow clothes in our community room and stayed for a visit. They told us all about The Dillion Foundation and the fantastic services they provide. We will be reaching out to our local school systems to get these coats out to the children that need them most.
We dropped off the coats to the local schools. We then went to God's Love and dropped some off there as well. Last, but not least, we reached out to the Good Samaritan, who has a program for needy families in our community, which will help to ensure that all of these fantastic coats find homes to children that genuinely need them this holiday season.
