Hi Jim,

Hope all is well. I just wanted you to know that we received your very generous check for the ProtectSeals campaign - Thank you very much.

The momentum on the campaign continues to build. Lowes Food Company in North Carolina (they have over 100 grocery stores in N. and S. Carolina and Virginia) has joined the campaign and is pledging to boycott Canadian seafood until the hunt ends for good. The other piece of exciting news is that the EU has announced that they will seek a ban on all seal products....this is not definite yet, by any means, but it was the best we could hope for at this stage. We just need to work hard over the next several weeks to make sure it comes to fruition. I am feeling very optimistic and confident that our efforts are finally beginning to pay off!

I am ccing our Sr. VP of Wildlife, John Grandy, on this e-mail as I know he will want to thank you as well.....I will stay in touch with you as other developments come to light. Thank you again for your generosity.

All the best,
Pat
