Foundation Highlights:
- Throughout the 1970's, collected food, clothing, for distribution throughout
Baja California.
- Organized a group of volunteers and helped a San Felipe family of
nine, rebuild their home after it was destroyed by fire.
- Got involved with the Barrigan family of National City. These two
outstanding individuals were the founders of the Community Youth Athletics program. This program is
dedicated to bringing youths off the streets, offering them positive role models, building self
confidence and self esteem.
- Collected donations for school supplies and delivered them to the
staff of El Jardin de Los Ninos a school for children in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
- Met with Oklahoma Lt. Governor Mary Fallin and committed to a twenty-year program to help build the Heartland Child Daycare Center and other related projects after
the Oklahoma City bombing.
- Established the Vista Scholarship Fund, this program provides funding
for disadvantaged children to participate in summer recreational activities.
- Organized a humanitarian trip to Honduras after Hurricane Mitch. We
put on seven puppet shows in three days to over fifteen thousand children. Purpose of the trip was
to put a smile on the faces of the children and give them a happy memory.
- Delivered a complete new computer to Jardin de Los Ninos in Cabo San
Lucas.
- Provided funds to the castle Park High School Baseball team. This
money was used for playing field improvements and other needs of the team.
- Provided over eight hundred books for the Biblioteca Publica in Cabo
San Lucas. These books were purchased throughout San Diego. All books were in Spanish.
- Provided funding for the Hope League in Concord California. This
league provides athletic activities for the physically impaired.
- The Dillon Foundation created the Canine Interaction Program. This
program provides service dogs that go to children and convalescence hospitals providing companionship.
- Established a "Food Bank" in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Families are
given basic staples on a monthly basis.
- Created the Mount Hood Snowboarding Scholarship. This program was
established to help send underprivileged children to Mount Hood Snowboarding Camp in Oregon.
- Purchased and sent one hundred children to the Culligan Holiday Bowl.
- Donated monies to the CPRS District XII Scholarship Fund. These
monies helped to fund six scholarships that were given to deserving students and
professionals.
- Contributed to The Scotty Graham Foundation. This organization helps
disadvantaged youths build self esteem through positive reinforcement.
- Helped "Children's Memories" get nonprofit status. This is the second
group that we have provided this service for.
- Established the "Community Legal Aid Project". This program provides
expert legal services at no cost. The legal services that are provided through
this program are landlord-tenant, consumer protection, employment, insurance,
and related matters.
- Helped establish the "Good Person Award" with Edison Elementary School.
Cash is awarded on a monthly basis to students at Edison Elementary School. The
award goes to individual students who demonstrate good citizenship.
- Provided the Cabo San Lucas Fire Department with used fire fighters gear. This
gear was donated by an engine company in Washington.
- Have sent over 1,000 intercity children to the Holiday Bowl over the last ten years.
- Made numerous donations to the Helen Woodward Animal Center.
- Have sent over 500 military person to the Holiday Bowl.
- Contributed numerous funds to Verbum Dei High School Athletic Program.
- Donated shirts to Christian Vision Fellowship to be used in Tijuana,
Mexico.
