Last year the Dillon Foundation
donated hundreds of Holiday Bowl and
Poinsettia Bowl tickets to U.S. Service
Personal, PAL ( Police Athletic League )
and the San Diego YMCA. These tickets
provided individuals an opportunity to
attend the Poinsettia Bowl, TCU vs.
Boise State, at Qualcomm Stadium on Dec.
23rd. and the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl,
Oregon vs. Oklahoma State, on December
30th. 2008.
Over the last twenty years. The
Dillon Foundation has supplied free
tickets to thousands of individuals to
attend these bowl games.

All the guests were invited to a tailgate party with free food, free
dinks and a free t-shirt before the game courtesy of TCU Booster.
“I look at it as an opportunity for people – men, women, young,
old—to go out and experience. I’m just trying to create happy
memories for these people. You’re not putting somebody on the moon
here, just putting a smile on somebody’s face".
